Joiner

We’re seeking an experienced Joiner to join a busy team producing high-quality, purpose-made joinery for point of sale and visual merchandising products.

This is a great opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship in a well-equipped workshop, working on bespoke, precision projects.

Location: Halifax
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week, 30-minute lunch, 2 x 15-minute breaks)
Pay Rate: Up to £17.00 per hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture purpose-made joinery to specification on secured work orders
• Read, interpret, and work from production schedules, technical, and construction drawings
• Work accurately with raw materials to minimize waste and maintain quality
• Operate woodworking machinery and handheld power tools safely and effectively
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area
• Produce high-quality work in line with company standards
• Follow all company policies and Health & Safety requirements
• Support good working relationships and uphold a professional company image at all times
• Undertake additional duties and overtime when required

About You:

• Experience in joinery or woodworking within a workshop environment
• Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good understanding of materials, measurements, and assembly drawings
• Positive attitude, self-motivation, and willingness to adapt to new systems or methods
